Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded broccoli
  • 1 cup shredded paneer
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • 1/2 cup water adjust accordingly
  • 2 tbsp oil for roasting

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded broccoli, shredded paneer, flour, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and dried Italian herbs.
  • Gradually add water while stirring to form a thick, spicy batter. Ensure there are no lumps.
  • Preheat your waffle iron and brush it with oil to prevent sticking.
  • Spoon the batter onto the hot waffle iron, spreading it evenly, and close the lid.
  • Cook until the waffle is golden brown and has a nice kick of spice.
  • Repeat until all the batter is used, brushing the waffle iron with oil between batches.
  • Serve these spicy broccoli paneer waffles hot with a cooling yogurt dip or mint chutney.
