Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Gulab Jamun mix
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 pinch of cardamom powder optional
  • Chopped nuts for garnish optional
  • sugar syrup for topping
  • water if required
  • vanilla icecream optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your waffle maker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the Gulab Jamun mix, all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and cardamom powder.
  • In another bowl, mix together the milk and melted butter.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.
  • Lightly grease the waffle maker with cooking spray or melted butter.
  • Pour half of the batter onto the preheated waffle maker and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Once the waffle is cooked and golden brown, repeat the process for the second waffle.
  • Drizzle Gulab Jamun syrup over the waffles and garnish with chopped nuts if desired.
  • Serve the Gulab Jamun Mix Waffles warm and enjoy this delightful treat for two!
