Besan Cheela Quesadilla

Ingredients

Besan Cheela:

  • 1 cup Besan chickpea flour
  • 1/2 cup Chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp Black salt
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder

Avocado Salsa:

  • 1 Avocado diced
  • 2 tbsp Green onions finely chopped
  • 1 Green chili finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup Cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice

Other Ingredients:

  • 4 Tortillas
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese
  • Oil for roasting

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl add all the ingredients of cheela and combine well.
  • In an another bowl mash the avocado and combine with other ingredients and set aside.
  • Pour a ladle of cheela batter on hot tawa and spread out in round, add little oil to roast.
  • Place a tortilla on top and flip it. Spread avocado salsa mix on one half.
  • Add some shredded cheese, fold into half and roast well on both sides.
  • Cut it into wedges and serve with hot sauce.
